Having personally visited Kitulo National Park numerous times, it has come to my attention that these viral images (Google image “Kitulo National Park”), depicting breathtaking views are, in fact, the majority are not from Kitulo National Park. These images, showcasing a stunning display of spring wildflowers, were captured by other talented photographers in locations such as Antelope Valley, California, or Lake Tekapo Lupin fields, New Zealand.

While these photographs undoubtedly exhibit the enchanting beauty of wildflowers, it is essential to clarify that they do not accurately represent the scenery found in Kitulo National Park.

Kitulo National Park, also known as the "Garden of God," is situated in the southern highlands of Tanzania. Renowned for its remarkable floral biodiversity, it has earned the nickname "Serengeti of Flowers." Within Kitulo, you will discover a striking array of wildflowers, including various orchids, lilies, daisies, and more.
