Bird Guide & Tour Leader
Abdulrahman Adam has been leading birding tours in East Africa for many years and is regarded as one of the top bird guides in Tanzania. He has participated in numerous expeditions and tours across both Tanzania and Kenya. With extensive experience and a deep knowledge of birds, Abdul is known for his passion and enthusiasm for birdwatching.
Born and raised in Namanga, on the border between Kenya and Tanzania, Abdul developed his love for nature and guiding early on. He holds a Wildlife and Guiding Skills diploma from the Professional Tour Guide School (Prots) in Arusha. Over the years, he has continued to refine his expertise through various training courses.
Abdul is also a skilled bird ringer and monitoring specialist, having received training from Nature Tanzania and the University of Dar es Salaam. He is a dedicated member of Attraction Birds Conservation (ABC) in Arusha, where he actively contributes to training young, aspiring birders.
Renowned for his exceptional ability to identify bird calls and his extraordinary eyesight—earning him the nickname "Hawk-eyes"—Abdul is one of the most talented guides you can encounter on safari. He is committed to making every trip a truly unforgettable experience for his guests.
